Die Antwoord Live Show Mashup

Die Antwoord posted a new video the other day on their website, which has also been redesigned (sort of), but subsequently took it down. Well it’s back up. It’s not really anything too new or exciting, but it does show us what one of their concerts looks like over in South Africa. Now that all the commotion has kind of died down, I wonder what kind of crowd they can expect if they eventually end up playing on this side of the dirt ball. I’d definitely be down to see them, but I’d also like to see them release some new material. One CD’s worth of material isn’t exactly what I’d be excited to see at a concert.

Here’s another video from the Fully Sick Rapper. I really love this guy’s stuff. His videos and lyrics are kind of weird, and the beats are sick. Here’s to the guy getting better, but hopefully even if he does he’ll continue making videos.

I have no idea who this band is or what they play, but this video is definitely worth checking out. It’s an insane Rube Goldberg machine that they set up to run throughout the course of the song. It runs two floors and apparently is synched up with the music. It’s kind of similar to that other video from that other band that I don’t know, but this one looks a lot more complex. Ninja is back with what appears to be a semi freestyle “song” about a girl he met named Sofie. It’s not too bad, but what really grabbed me about these guys was their beats. So, this is win. Apparently Chad Kroeger from Nickelback got all cryfase because this page was able to pick up more fans than his band. He sent an email to the girl who started it, and she sent him one back. +1 internets for Coral Anne.

I know everyone is being beat over the head with all this Die Antwoord stuff, but their shit is so Zef and FULL FLEX I just cant get enough. Anyway, this here group called the Guerilla Speakerz from the Netherlands and a group called The Bobby 6 Killers have made a pretty dope remix of one of my favorite tracks off $o$, Beat Boy. So far I’ve heard around 4 or 5 different remixes of different songs, and to be honest, they all fucking suck. This one is pretty dope though. So I know this is pretty old, but I still enjoy it from time to time. I don’t know whether it’s the Nintendo style 8 bit beats making up the background or the fact that he’s singing about being the cutest kid, even while he looks like a Hispanic version of Thud Butt from Hook. I guess it’s the combination of everything, plus I have to admit the song is pretty catchy. Video after the jump.

Now, anyone that knows me. Knows how I feel about Dubstep. I hate it. For some reason, and I don’t know why, this cat’s music has always been different. From one of the first tracks he did called “Rock For Years”, to some of his newer tracks, I find myself bobbing my head as I listen. Big things are coming around the corner for this South Florida local. He’ll be playing a set of dates during Miami’s Winter Music Conference, including the Future Sound of Breaks V.8, which if the lineup is any indication, is probably going to be a big deal.
Lately I’ve been working on a lot of music and have an EP with George Young coming out on a newish dubstep label in a few weeks. I’ve also been doing a bit of web design, (http://www.heartbeatsunlimited.com, http://www.patternawareness.org) and doing all of the design work for the upcoming Metalheadz vs Bassdrive party for WMC this year. I am really stoked to be doing some “official” work for Metalheadz, arguably the best drum and bass crew in the world.
After completing my first “tour” back in December, opening for 16bit in Brooklyn, playing at the legendary Konkrete Jungle party and headlining Bass Embassy just outside of Boston, I’m currently preparing for a string of Winter Music Conference bookings.

So apparently it’s official. There’s no sausage in her panties. The folks over at I Don’t Like You In That Way have posted some NSFW pics of her junk. I kind of feel sorry for it after seeing those pics. It looks like it’s been through quite a rough time. I never really had a doubt that she was actually a she, but I do have to say, she is a HIDEOUS she. When she first came out I was wondering why there was always something blocking her face. Pair of glasses, hair, some type of weird mask. And then I finally saw the way she REALLY looks and it all became clear. She had been hit in the face with an UGLY ASTEROID. Anyway, here’s the link.
